Rausch Creek needs to know how many people are planning on attending (I have this part covered), also how many people are planning on camping (They want to know who is showing up/when).


If you planning on Camping at all for the event please contact Lynn lynn@rc4x4.org.
In the Email please let her know:

The Event (Camp MJ)
When you are planning on showing up
How many people are with you (They only need one Email per vehicle)
Basic vehicle description (so they know who is in their lot)
It also wouldn't hurt to thank them for being so accommodating ;)



You can show up on friday afternoon/evening for camping purposes only, you may set up the site and camp. If you are camping though YOU MUST acquire a membership (if you don't already have one), and your day pass on saturday and any day you plan on wheeling. PLEASE REMEMBER: Overnight camping is only available to those that are paying to use the park.

Once you contact Lynn, please post up a reply in this thread. Please only post up in this thread AFTER you send the Email, so that we know who is camping as well.

Emailed. Just a curiosity question, how come EVERYONE must email her? I wouldn't imagine that this happens for every vehicle and person planning on camping at their establishment. Should someone else just take the lead on this and get in contact with those going so that one person can send her the information instead of getting 30 emails or worse, people that have marked their calendars for the event and don't sign on here everyday and check the Camp MJ forum?

I do not see the problem you speak of since most attendees will be staying at the Comfort Inn, and this is mainly for the Friday night crowd since they will not be wheeling till saturday morning and they want to make sure that the people camping aren't just vagrants trying to find a free place to sleep. I made this to all, just to make sure all the bases are covered.
I'm currently in the process of Emailing Bruce to ask him if I need to "adjust my fire" on anything in the "Camp MJ" section, hopefully he will let me know if there is anything I need to correct. If they only want a head count of the friday-nighters I will edit the original post.

are those 8 included in the 35 total rigs going so far? I just want to be able to have a fairly accurate count when contacting companies to see if they want to sponsor camp mj by providing door prizes. by the way, i am pretty ticked I am going to miss this.

Yah Mate, the 8 that I am accounting for are included in the 35 listed. I have at least 3 more "maybe" folks that are not included anywhere as of yet. I will keep those counting updated as this goes along. I was just following instructions provided for those who were camping.

You are missing this because??? I already told you...submit a DA 31 and do leave in conjunction with TDY and you are there on Uncle Sugars Dime. I will get you from Va to PA and back to the airport myself!

Email sent. I will be bringing a friend riding shotgun and each of us is bringing one of our sons. We will camp Friday night, and wheel Sat and Sun - departing Sun night.

I’ll be going solo and camping, so I will be looking for fellow MJ brothers there. Of course as stated in other threads, my trip to Camp MJ is predicated on the “idea” that I don’t break my YJ the week prior at RC. Being a Motivated Jar Head I’ll be wearing a bunch of Marine stuff. Don’t let that put you off though, I have been living this life for 20+ years, have worked with all branches (making life long friends in the process) and know all branches of military need each other. Bla, bla bla.. find me and we’ll drink beer and have fun….

i have sent an email letting them know that i will be heading up friday afternoon and staying till sunday. there will be 1 other person maybe two in my vehicle plus me.
