Join us Thursday the 13th of March at Mikes American Grill in Springfield Virginia for some steaks and jeep talk.

The start time will be 1800 HRS and I will post more information about directions to the location, but I really need to get an accurate head count prior to finalizing stuff with the management.
Mikes has some good food and when it is busy, parking is a pain, but the Springfield Mall is right across the street and you can just park there and run across if needed.
Please post here if you are planning to attend and I will keep this list updated.

Anything more than 8 people and we have to get two or more booths. Billing is done one total bill or one bill per table. I just got off the phone with someone that said that we can reserve the table for no later than 1800 HRS, so 1800 is when it starts.
It is good food, but a little pricey. Worth it for the good food. If you know anyone else from toher clubs that may want to go, just make sure they are added if you are sure they are going. I need to have a pretty accurate count so that I can get booths next to each other.

me and my crew might be there but not in the jeep, do i need to bring photo id of my jeep to join in
I think the tables seat 8, so if we have 16 or less, they will probably just give us two tables. I think TexCJ7 throws us past the 16 mark, so I will call tomorrow and tell them we need three tables for thursday, but if anyone finds out they are not coming, please post here so I can adjust the numbers.

gotcha. i called and made reservation for 13 people, which is two tables. They said that if we all get there before 1800 hrs, we will be seated faster. even with reservations, we may stil have to wait a little, maybe 20 minutes. I think both tables will fit 16 total, so if more than 16 show up we will just squeeze together and make our buddies happy to fit everyone.

my family and i are still going. if anyone else shows up, we will see you there.
Good time tonight. some of us had a few more glasses of a good time than others, but all in all, it was a good time.
Don, Tollas3, Korisu56, Mrs. Korisu56, Miljeep, Mrs. Miljeep, and Lilttle Miljeep all showed up.
We may not choose this location again unless someone donates a large amount of money to the site to be used specifically for meet and greets or unless someone that attends the meet and greet has won the lottery and is feeling generous.

I will try to post a photo. Maybe I will post the video of when Chris said that he bet me a beer that I would not eat a chunk of fat off the prime rib. I ate the fat, but still paid for all my own beers. Darn infantry guys....ya cannot trust em'.
Great time tonight guys and some of us ordered more meat then other "40oz to freedom" Nice meeting everyone.
That may be the last time that we go to Mikes. It was a little too pricey. :mad:

I think we need a place with tables that can be set together and not booths. The booths sucked because if we had more people, we would have had been split up.
Hooters was probably the best locatioin we had found and I talked with the hooters manager and they said that I could go through them to secure tables next time.
