I was today:D Had my 6 month check up at the VA clinic, in Superior, WI.
I'm right on the border of MN & WI.
I'll be down in Lakewood, WI during the 4th of July. It's about an hour north of Green Bay, and right near McCaslin Mtn off road area.

I guess I will have to cover the bottom half of the state-Janesville. My LJ is getting a new front end, Flat fenders and front axle if I can find one.

I'm in the Madison area. Has anyone wheeled on the tank trails at Fort McCoy?

I didnt know that the tank trails were open to the public. There are some good trails up in the Black River Falls area and I understand there is an old quarry if you feel like a very cold swim. There is going to be a Jeep Jamboree up in the Nicolet National Forest the last week of July.

I'll be hitting the trails there at least one day. Never been on the trails, not sure what to expect.
Thanks, HB:beer:
I might as well be from Wisconsin. I'm just over the border in the upper peninsula of michigan.

I just drove through the UP:D From Menominee up 41 and then west across HWY2.
Went to McCaslin Mtn over the fourth. Couldn't get to crazy, as I was wheeling alone, but got to see over 1/2 the trails.
They are located on County Rd 'F', about 1 1/2 hrs north of Green Bay, and an hour west of Marinette.
It was 10 bucks for a day pass, not bad considering they have over 30 miles of trails! They also have camping, with wheeling included.
The day pass is good until 6pm, and if you're camping, the trails are open until 10pm.
They have a lot of mud, if thats your thing, and some good rocks, ravines and just plain old trails.
Here's a few pics:

No problem. I didnt get a lot of pics, as it was just my boy and me. There's some nice big rock ledges near the 'look out', but it was there that my son (7 years old) found the wifes old pepper spray, and shot himself in the forehead!
No damage, other than some burning eyes and runny noses, and we had to clear out of the XJ for a few minutes:rolleyes:
I kind of forgot about the camera after that:D

That was unfortunate (even though I LMAO). Here's a couple of root:beer:'s for the young lad.
The wife & I will be in the Claumet County area around Labor Day weekend (we're flying up - no the CJ doesn't have wings - yet :D). We usually hang around Quinney at/on Lake Winnebago, her family lives in Chilton.
Later, T.J.
