I have been checking on the club since it started. Looks like it is continuing to develop and grow and has the potential to be one of the best sources of information out there.....kind of a bold statement? No, not really when you think of it from a military standpoint.
Let me explain (state the obvious) and I am sure you will agree.
Regardless of service or rank for that matter, the majority of the folks in the military have greater life experiences and more frequent travel to austere locations around the World. Mobility is ingrained or programmed into our brain housing groups. Taking on tough odds and getting the entire group from one place to another; when stuff breaks we fix it so we can continue and then spend a lot of time learning from our mistakes, developing new TTP's, rehearsing and do it all again. Put that with other skill sets that are inherent to folks in the military such as land navigation, First Aid or dealing with trauma, planning and dissemination of information, etc....
Now with that in mind, focus all of those skills toward an obsessive hobby like Jeeping. What a better group of guys to be out in harsh conditions with? Take all of this and give them a focal point to exchange ideals and experiences with and you have MilitaryJeepers.com
Not much of an introduction of myself but more of a sales pitch of why this web site is such a good ideal. If you read between the lines you get a pretty good perspective of where I am coming from....just add in the fact that I own a Jeep and the intro is complete.
