All,

Looking to get together with the folks from FLW on the board this next weekend (18 Apr) for a run to tahyua. Should be pretty mild, there are some pretty good section to test your skills that are optional. The clubs in the bremerton area have put alot of work into this trail to make it interesting.

Post up if your down. Looking for a good day of family oriented wheeling.

Not sure yet who's running and where we may head to. I'll most likely be full up, we'll see the week is still young.

We should definently get together for wrenching and wheeling. The guys where I work just drive Jeeps, I don't even think they know where the t-case shifter is.

Well its thurs night,

Anyone plan on running this weekend? I know the spring fair is on the list for most folks to attend. Post up if you plan on running, don't like to hit the trails alone, if no one is down for a run will push it off to another weekend and work on the honey do list.

I won't be ready for a run, Jeep is going in the shop next week....if the weather is decent I will be cleaning it, doing a few minor fixes and dealing with some rust issues.

Roger,

Looks like this run will be pushed to the right. Hopefully weather will continue to improve and we can hit it next weekend or the weekend after.

I'll be doing some 1/10th scale wheelin on the rock course in the front yard. Hopefully I don't break and can make it home..........

I think Evans is still pretty covered in snow. I was gonna see what the guys from work had planned. I was kinda hoping for a sunday run so I can try to get a new hub bearing in up front.

All,

Sunday run to Capital Forest, I haven't wheeled there yet, don't really think the trails are too aggressive.

Plan to link-up in Yelm at the safeway 0900hrs for gas and chow then head out. Please post up if plan to run so I know how many people we will be waiting on.

Thanks

If my parts are waiting for me when I get back to my room I should be able to get that done tonight or early tomorrow and hopefully get my tire replaced as well.

I know where the Safeway is and will post tomorrow night if I will be there for sure.

Sounds good,

I'm checking the topo for capital right now.

Looks like unimproved roads/old logging trails most of the way, has about 2K in elevation gain. Should make for some nice views if its not raining. Anyway, I here their having PNW races at the ORV park out there, might be fun to check out if the wheeling sucks.

I have to get started on my rigg, PMCS stuff.

My buddies XJ needs some love today.

Hope to see you all there.

My parts never showed up...I did have the tires looked at today and it appears there is no side wall damage, just cosmetic...still up in the air about wheeling on them however.

I gotta say it was pretty sucky.

We went in on the north side at the rock candy and quickly ran into roads closed secondary to slides. I tried to follow some trails up the north slope using my gps to link into the secondary trails further up with no luck.

The trail that heads up the barried gas line was pretty cool but the climb was a little more than the group was up for. Probably would have been ok if all had lockers and there was atleast one more winch.

It was a nice day though and we still had fun

It's sad how much trash is up there. Some guys at work told me that a few miles further down 101 there is another ohv park.
