Tree cutting....

won't be working on jeeps but will be using tools. Gotta cut down several trees at my place to get ready for the shop to be built. I've rented a boom lift to get the top of the trees. I will be working Sat until the rain comes and Sunday. Anyone and everyone that wants to help is welcome (especially if you know what the heck you are doing)...If you have a chainsaw bring it along. If you need firewood bring your truck or trailer.

PS. anybody have a safety harness I can borrow? Could also use a chipper/shredder if anybody has one...

No I'm in Manassas, but almost in Woodbridge. I'm at the end of Dale Blvd where it turns into Purcell across Hoadly Rd.

Well, only Blair and Ryan were man enough to bring their flannel shirts to come cut down trees (Thanks guys your help was huge!!!!). We got 7 smaller ones down and cut up in manageable lengths. We got 4 of the big ones (probably 70-80ish feet) topped (leaving only 25-30 ft to cut down).

So for those of you who missed out being manly today have another opportunity tomorrow as I have 2-3 trees left to be topped then 6 that have to be taken the rest of the way down.

So come on over and bring your chipper/shredder ...still could use on of those.
