ring n pinion

alright still have not been able to disassemble theh rear diff but common sense states it will be the ring n pinion that will need replaced. Partner is taking care of me and the part will be around 100$$. Here is the real question anyone know how to set the shim on the switch. Otherwise when I change it out it will cost around 250$$ for labor alone. yeah that sucks..
