I was looking for advice on front and rear bumpers for my 2004 tj. i have not decided on if im going to use a rear tire carrier or just mount my spare inside the cab. If it does have a carrier it need to be able to hold a 37". I need some people that have more time online to look up some bumpers they think are cool and post some pics up for me. time in the mwr is very limited and i dont want to take away others guys time that they could be chatting with there wifes or writing family to search around for jeep parts. So if you guys could do that for me it would be great. thanks

I think a lot of people are going to tell you to go with GroundPounderFab.com. His name is Eddie and he goes by Bersrk (spelling) on this board. His bumpers are awesome. I see no reason why his swingout won't fit a 37". As far as the front, check out pacifier's, 02tj's, or fifthpro's. Those are awesome front bumpers made by him. As far as the rear goes, I do have pics. I love that bumper, and it was an awesome price, and super sturdy and included a frame tie in and 3rd tail light. Good luck with the spending.
P.S-they don't come with back up lights.
I would go with Eddie also. I got his front and rear bumper and am very very pleased. Click here (http://www.militaryjeepers.com/community/private.php?do=newpm&u=89) to shoot him a pm. Just tell him what you are looking for and he will do exactly what you need. Front and rear, shipped with a bunch of extra stuff on them, actually costed me less than a rear through quadratec I was looking at.

Yeah, the rear that I was going to get was around $700 dollars. I spent A LOT less than that and got a hi-lift mount, frame tie in, third brake light, and-the best part of all- I got to support a small business owner.
I'll help you spend your money. You'll need my address to send the check:D

Definitely have to agree with Groundpounder having great work. Was there during MilJeep's install, and everyone of his products I haven't heard a bad thing of them so far. Except my complaint of no XJ stuff (that make Yeti sad), but I can survive that.
You could always donate it to my redo the kitchen in my house fund.:D But on a serious note I would go with Eddie also. His bumpers all look to be quality pieces and can be made to order.

HighTechRedNeck,
Groundpounder Fab by Eddie, GroundpounderFab@verizon.net retired from the military with killer skills; he stands behind his work! The rear bumper shown above by Korisu has the spare tire mounted to an adjustable hitch to allow you to adjust the spare tire mount by sliding it in or out to custom fit according to the size of tire.
The front bumper referenced can incorporate just about anything that you desire. Two shackle mounts, stinger (custom size) or simple light bar, with or without a Grill Hoop (Allows the retention of the stock swaybar) winch mounting plate and light taps as required or desired. Here is a same pic of mine:

Order with confidence!

Eddie, I will have to look you up when I get to the states in April for a front bumper for my YJ if the shipping to CO Springs isn't too much.
CO is kind of pricey since I'm out here in the United Republic of Virginia.
Probably in the $40-$50 range..
You can always donate to the
HMR-RSQ Cancer Fund!! ???????
anyway, I think from expereince bumpers should be one of the first mods anyone does to their Jeep... Good luck and have lots of fun.....
If you guys didnt already KNOW, Eddie (GROUND POUNDER FAB.COM) is donating a frt bumper and rear swing out bumper to the Falls Church Auto Show. All proceeds will be going to the wounded warrior project!

I could get the 6 to go with that. After having $130 shipping on a Hi-Jack, that is nothing.
