That's awesome man. I hope you like it. Make sure you give us the skinny when you pick it up.

I don't think the 35's will stay on very long, and hopefully if the bank pulls through I'll go pick it up tomorrow.

Wondering the same thing. Hows the jeep drive?

Well, the bank screwed up and didn't send the check like they were supposed to so I didn't get it today. I went up there anyways and looked it over and gave it a quick spin. It drove pretty well except the rear locker needs to be rebuilt (which the owner promised would be done before I go pick it up). The front diff. seal needs replaced and needs blinkers up front. Other than that I'm in love.

You could do the CJ type blinkers...I will definitely do it whenever I get around to tube fenders.

is he holding it for you?

05warrior

Yes he is, I gave him a small deposit. Now I am hoping to go get it between Thursday and Saturday.

Good luck. Glad it's working out for you. When you get it, you are going to have to go back and hit that hill in GWNF from your first ride in your other jeep.

Let me know if you need any help w/ the mechanical parts of it?

I hate banks sometimes. I have had some bad experiences with them screwing things up pretty good. Since then I got a really good financial advisor (Household 6), that knows if a penny is missing. She loves to jump in peoples butts to get things strait. It's good that the guy is going to hold it for you. I hope you got a receipt.

Miljeep- Why do you gotta bring up that hill?? That hurts!!!

02Tj- I'm gonna need help

Trailsnail- I was pissed but they figured out what happened and apologized a lot and even called the seller to let him know it was their fault. Oh and his upgraded axles are just newer better axle shafts.

As soon as I track down those photos and videos, they are getting posted. :)

If he has upgraded axles shafts, BEAT THEM TILL THEY BREAK! But he could find a spare in time and get it ready for an easy swap.

I just want you to know, that it was the jeeps fault. The driver had nothing to do with the failure to negotiate that obstacle.:)

OK, Chris, you have my curiosity up? I have a "Wish List" with tube fenders on it in the FUTURE...
What's the reference to the CJ blinkers about?

PS I get mine back from the mechanic in two weeks.....:D:D:D

it's pretty simple you can get some cj blinkers or any round yellow lights (from truck stop) and drill holes in your grill and wire'em up
