Going to either Sidewinder or somewhere in the San Diego area. Leaving Pendleton area around 0800. I will have an open seat if you need a ride.

Yes this event did happen, and it was not a good one!
We showed up at 0900. We met up with some guys from Justruns, there was about 8-10 of us. we started with the Connector. well the Rubicon that was third in line broke his driveshaft. Well no problem the guys in front both had winches, so if he has a problem then they could assist him. well about 10- 20 feet ahead of where he broke the drive shaft he broke driver front axle u joint. So he had to be winched the whole way. We could not go around him until about 1800-1900 that night. We would go maybe 1/8 mile and then sit for 1-2 hours and we did that all day. Not to much fun, plus i had my 6 yr old son with me that got sick. The guy in the Rubicon, which by the way was a lease, ended up getting off the mtn around 2300, I believe. So it was not a fun day!
