PCS to Ft Riley

I came down on orders to PCS to Ft Riley and i was trying to see if there was anyone that is also stationed there or has been there before than can point me in the right direction for a good place to get a house or apt? Thanks.

As a heads up... housing is rather expensive there. That said the market seems to be somewhat depressed and you should be able to get a deal compared with a few years ago. Ask me how I know. I would recomend looking in Manhattan or Wamego.

When you get there look up the Trail Krawlers (http://www.trailkrawlers4x4.org). They are a bunch of good guys and a lot of fun to wheel with. They run everything from stock rigs to buggies and the experience is also quite varied so everyone can fit in.

there is tuttle creek orv there also which is a good place to wheel.post is kinda spread out if i remember right. but all in all not a bad place to be stationed.
