View Full Version : Walker Valley Trip on 16 May

I am heading up to Walker Valley http://www.nwjeepn.com/walker%20valley.htm (http://www.nwjeepn.com/walker%20valley.htm)
tomorrow with some folks from Cascade 4x4. The link up is at the Smokey Point Rest area, just north of mile marker 206 on I-5 at 0900. I will be leaving from the Rainier Inn here on base around 0700.

Were you in the group with the 2 red wranglers and 2 Toyotas or were you in the group with the blued MJ and 2 Wranglers? I was up at Walker Saturday, too. I was in a Silver XJ.

Roger, the Blue MJ, silver YJ and I am the blue TJ with Colorado tags. Sorry I missed you, you should have stopped over and said hello :) Had a good time.

We started talking about it under another thread and I only posted the details after I got them last Thursday night. We have a trip planned for Liberty for June 19 - 21. I will post more info as I get it. It may be my next chance to go wheeling as I am back in CO next weekend, then TDY the following and back in CO the weekend after that.

Damn! me and some friends took my new toy to walker that day as well, we had three TJ's silver darkblue and a light blue one. It was my first time going wheeling, we had a blast but the silver jeep suffered some body damage:(

I remember seeing the blue MJ. I was just ahead of you all on the Lower Mainline trail when you met the 2 red Jeeps and black Toyotas. I stopped along the road and you all went by just before I dove into the lower portion of the trail. Sweet Jeeps you all have. Hope we can plan a wheeling run together sometime.

Is that the silver Rubi with black corner guards I see all over base?

nah its a 2001 tj with some fresh body damage on the left driver blinker due to a hidden rock we are thinking on going back out this weekend. another friend of mine is prob picking up a yellow 2002 tj in tacoma this weekend

I might be up there this weekend with my room mate I have the black YJ with Warn stickers under the doors he has the black TJ with red headlight bezzles.
