San Diego meet and greet.

We have been trying to arrange a meet and greet for awhile with no success because of everyones busy schedules and the short planning on my part. I know it will be hard to work i out for everyone ito attend so we may have to have more than one. I would like to get together next month.
I am thinking the first weekend or whatever the majority of us would find best suited to us all. I have never arranged a meet and greet so as far as an area or place i am still up in the air. I was thinking depending on how many are interested in attending that we could meet a restaurant for lunch. We all could all introduce ourselves our rigs, 4wheeling background and experience. then afterwards go and check out everyone rigs. maybe even at that time we could set up a nearby run just to do some playing, Especially before it gets way to hot to wheel. I am up for any restaurant so please toss ideas at the group. I like Hooters. just my suggestion. Unless someone has a house and we just want to BBQ.

we are still waiting for a time and place. I am still on leave till the 5th of jun. as soon as i come back we will find the place and time. I am still open to any place but i feel that a weekend is best time. for us all

sorry everyone i have been on vacation in michigan visiting family and my internet was weak. So I say how does saturday the 13th at 1100 at the tilted kilt look for everyone.

The Padres are at Anaheim that day, so the Kilt looks good. Google earth shows a huge vacant lot with a giant mud puddle about 200 feet from the Kilt on K St.. That'd be fun-haha, but its prolly got a sky-scraper on it now. Is parking down there stupid? The usual Downtown SanDiego $.25/12 minutes parking meters, or can you park in the Petco lot for free-$2? I should be home that weekend... Yuma is already cookin (109 yesterday):cool:

Sorry for the late response. In regards to tomorrow I know the parking is crappy and since part of the object of the meet and greet is to see what everyone is driving I was thinking we still meet at the restaurant at 1100 go in eat and shoot the breeze at which point when we are done we can then decide on a general spot to meet and see eveyones rigs since i imagine we will all be parking in diff spots. Since I have never been there i will try and get there a tad early and see if i can reserve a table for about 7-10 people if i counted right. Since we dont know how best to identify everyone I will wait out friend wearing the University of michigan hat and if that dont work everyone can feel free to call me at 858-245-8491. I would have been there, but I had puke bucket detail...everyone in the house but me. How did it turn out? Did you all enjoy the Kilt?

We had four members show. The Kilt very nice scenery, Food was good as well. Imagine one squid and 3 devil dogs eating together. It was great. I know short notice is hard and things come up but we will have a few more meet and greets so we have a chance to meet everyone. One thing we really did not get a chance to see everyones jeeps as the parking was not great. so next time it would be cool if we meet somewhere where there is a parking lot. Sorry about the family hope all is well now. Catch ya around doc.
