Dudes and Dudettes,
We need to start kicking around ideas for the next big one. I think what we should do is post a place that interests you and then after we have 10 or 15 places to choose from we will make a poll. After the poll results are in we will pick a place. The place you choose doesn't have to be a wheeling spot, it can be a nice tourist attraction, camping, hiking, swimming, wheeling, BBQ at someones house, or if someone is really motivated they could hide a bunch of stuff all over a town and record the location with a GPS and make an urban orienteering course (treasure hunt) type of deal with some possible prizes or something. I would suggest that any trip you have in mind be family friendly and that information about the surrounding areas be easily found. Let's keep this going.
Here are a couple of my choices.
1. http://www.offroadpark-knuellwald.de/ this is an offroad park, looks pretty good never been there. Will probably have to find a campingplatz nearby but it shouldn't be an issue.
2. http://www.camping-jungfrau.ch/en/aktivitaeten/sommer/default.asp This place is just a campground, it is Switzerland on the highest peak in Europe. My buddy just got back from there and he said there is a ton of stuff to do such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming in a pool at the campground, paragliding, and so on. The exchange rates in Switerland are in favor of the US dollar so that is always a plus. I am not sure of whether or not a passport is required, I will look into it and find out if a DA31 or other services equivalent is sufficient. International drivers license is required, if anyone needs help getting one I would be more than willing to help.

I am definatly down for the fourth as long as work cooperates or I take leave.
As far as another cool trip goes I am down for anything new. Both of bigsky's links look sweet, don't even care if there is wheeling as long as I can see somthing new with some kick ass people and chill.

AJ,
I already have a room in Edelweiss for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of July. As far as wheeling that weekend woul be a no go for me anyways, gotta spend some time with the wifey every now and then. May be up for a good half day hike or renting a bike and bombing down some big ass hills. I have climbing gear and would like to do a bit of climbing if you know any spots. My wife really wants to go see the Eagles nest and I would too. What do you know about the eagles nest? Good bad prices etc.
I think Boser def sounds good too, let's keep it open for any ideas that other people may come up with. Come on guys scour the depths of the internet and show us the best places that you can find.
As Chuck already said the days are getting numbered for me as well. I leave in February at the latest and December as the soonest. Got to enjoy it while I can.
Whoever has the most longevity left speak up now so you can keep the ball rolling on the Germany Jeep Scene.
I talked to Miljeep and he is in the process of setting up a Germany Chapter for us, as soon as I get any info on it any it is up and running I will let you all in on it.
Maybe we have an artist in the group that can come up with some sort of cool logo for T-shirts and we can sell Germany chapter shirts/stickers/hats and randomness to help raise money to fund future trips/meet and greets/bbq and stuff.
Well I suppose that is enough rant from me for now.
Shoot some ideas up, see you in Garmisch, let's drink a tower of beer when we get there.

You know my vote, the Alsace Off Road Park France. www.alsace-off-road.fr/ (http://www.alsace-off-road.fr/) They have camping at the off road park with toilets and small showers and you can also have a camp fire. There is a camping site in a small town about 8Km away called Saverne where they have a nice camp ground with regular showers, toilets and everything. The park is closed the last weekend of every month thats the only down fall. I believe this is the best off road park in Europe. Here are some over head pic's of the park it is just shy of 49.50 acres.

Sorry I missed out on Memorial day. I've been traveling like crazy lately. That darn Africa.. now you want some off-road park... it's one big off road park. I'm hoping to get out with the group here soon so...keep planning and I'll jump on when I can. Sorry I can be more active.

I talked to a guy last night who has a reind that has a fully stocked body shop w/ 2 lifts 1 pit and 1 flat bay that apparently is available, they used to come to his shop and get their cars ready for race wars. The owner had an accident and is paralized, he said he will talk to him for me about renting it either for weekends or just flat out full time. I am rallying the jeepers here in Graf area and would be more than happy to host a long jeep building weekend here in graf if this shop comes thru. I don't know about yall but I am never done working on my jeep. Hit me back with some input, we have a shop nearby to buy metal stock, camping, fishing, 1 hour and 30 min from langenaltheim, and possibly a small offroad park about 5 k from graf we r trying to figure that one out still.
