We installed the Teraflex BB (2") yesterday. All seemed well until I was driving home and the front end began to shake violently on the Interstate!!! I pulled over and couldn't find anything wrong. Once I started driving again it was fine. It happened 2 more times yesterday. We removed the tires and made sure they were seated properly last night. It hasn't happened at all today but I'm not quite sure it's done! Could this be a result of the springs just adjusting themselves again...maybe they weren't seated properly and they were just getting back into place...does this make sense to anyone? If not, any suggestions? I plan to have it realigned this week.
Thanks
Jen

Double check the tightness of the trackbar.

Get an alignment done or do it yourself. The TJ's steering setup, the inverted "Y", will toe-in when a suspension lift is installed. It's a stupid design, but that's what Jeep gave us. Your toe is way off.

I didn't get my DW until after I got my alignment.

Having suffered from the Death Wobble myself I have to admit I smiled when I read your post......that $hit will get your attention wont it?
Sort of like getting up early in the morning and getting a big bowl of Fruit Loops pouring in the milk and getting a big spoonful...just to find out you poured buttermilk in there! I can not imagine it happening at highway speeds.....I would probably be needing new seat covers after having that happen at 60 mph.

Thanks!!!
I realize I was absolutely no help what so ever other than sympathy.......
PS: What kind of new seat covers did you end up with?
Ha-Ha!!! LOL!!! Might need new seats entirely.

I would also get a better steering stabilizer, the stock one is about the size of a storm door strut.
Didn't Jeep kind of fix that with the JK...IE: no more slip yoke?
I'm not all that familiar with my Jeep yet because I returned to Iraq about a week after I purchased it, so I apologize if I'm way off the mark when it comes to technical questions.
