Really stupid question

How do I tell if my TJ has a header channel on it for soft tops. My jeep came with a soft top, but the last time I assumed something, it bit me in the arse hard.

I dunno. I just ordered it with the safari top. Hope it gets in soon, weather's too nice to be with a top!

If you are buying an aftermarket top, you are going to need to buy one. If you buy a MOPAR branded one, then you don't need the header.

(I know bestop makes the Jeep top, but there is some issue with patents.)

I got the smittybilt header and safarit top brand new for under a 100 bucks shipped to my house.
