Okay, so I posted up slight details of where a few of us will be headed for the Meet and Greet this month, since of course no place has been decided, I guess I can handle it.
Anyways, the dates aren't till Saturday and Sunday this weekend, but I am thinking why not make a longer weekend out of it? A few guys I met up with on the trails and funny enough, I had to tow them out said they would be up for a family camping trip up in Woodland Park starting on Thursday night at around or 1800 or 1900, the meeting place is gonna be at the Barracks (Bld. 1554) In the South parking lot.
Most of the people I have going with me already live within a mile of the barracks itself so its not that far of a drive, and its a easy place to store things in the supply closet here. From Carson we would head up to Woodland Park and get a few camping spots already set up before the sun goes down.
The next day would be some light wheeling around the trails at Rainbow falls, gathering up some more wood for the camp site, doing stuff like that, and of course getting everything set up for the rest of the Jeepers going up there.
The last time we were at the Camp site it was about 15 dollars per camp site, which supports 3 vehicles per site, any more on a site costs extra, I'll call up the park service to verify though.
Anyone who wants to go up either Friday or Saturday, or even on Sunday set your times and meeting spots here, we will be running channel 4 on CB if you want to radio us before you get in.
