Am I the only one here from Vegas?
I'm not in Vegas but would love to visit and wheel some time if there's something going on. Take care. NORM

I don't feel so alone now. I'm toward the west, I guess that's what you'd call it. Near Rainbow and Westcliff.

I do not live there, but go over each year for SEMA and then Hump and Bump following the show. A good time at both.
They also have some good clubs over there.
Nevada Back Roaders or Vegas Valley.
I know people in both, as my dad lived in Vegas for 8 years.
If you need contacts at either one, let me know.

Vegas guy here. Just started investing in a slow build of my 99 TJ. Has been a daily driver for years and finally decided to start putting a little love in it. Not real strong with the mechanic skills and have limited tools but wouldn't mind getting together with some folks and tinkering on some rides or tooling around in the desert.
OttSome just moved back to Vegas.

The Nevada Back Roaders are always helping each other wrench on each others rigs. They have a few guys that are really good with a welder, and benders and just about anything you need.

is their forum.
Post up there if you need help.
They do almost all their stuff online, and only have a club meeting when out wheeling.

Thanks for the welcome. I don't work on base so I actually live in Silverado, Eastern and 215 ish. Do you ever hit up the auto hobby shop on base? I've never been there, or to one period but I'm wondering if that's a good place to go tinker.
I'm pretty mechanically naive so I'm paranoid about getting too into stuff and not being able to finish and my tools consist of a socket set and some wrenches!

Im up north. The only time I go to the hobbie shop is to get a smog check their hours are screwed up and I have a habit of working late into the night. I dont like rushing things and when your working against the clock because they are about to close does not cut it for me. Same with the wife and dinner but then I can just eat and get back to work.
