I live in Waterbury, CT and was wondering if there are any Jeepers on here from near my city? I'm looking to find some new paths and stuff to hit up, as well as share some of the ones I found with folks. I get my Jeep back this week from having some work done on it and definitely want to go hit the trail!

Check out www.jt4x4.com (http://www.jt4x4.com)
The club started with Navy guys from the Groton Sub Base, but we are expanding. I know it is a little far, but we drive to all our trail rides, so nothing is really that close to Groton.
Live in Bristol, work in waterbury. Where'd you get the work done, Carls?

If you work at the Sub Base you might have seen some JT4x4 stickers on some of the rigs, and if not you will see more soon since we just got our first re-order of stickers in over a year. About half of JT4x4 are Navy guys at the Sub Base and the others are local civilians.
ETSubchief you would fit right in. We have a wide mix of Navy guys from junior enlisted, a few Chiefs and even a few O-gangers and from nukes to cones.
I go by the same forum name on JT4x4, feel free to look us up. Our next event is the Great American Jeep Rally. We will have a few meeting spots and then caravanning up as a group. Our next trail ride is Oct 3 and thwe next meeting is Sat Oct 10.

I know I'm bringing back a dead post.... I'm right down the road (rt8) in Northfield (between Thomaston and Torrington).... I usually have to travel to hit up any trails. MA has some legal wheeling (for now), and PA has a few nice offroad parks.

I know where Northfield is. I grew up in Thomaston mostly, and just moved to Waterbury about 2 years ago when I got off of Active Duty. There are a few goot trails around my area that are not bad. I explore for them all them time, haha.

One of the best off-road companies is in waterbury. Clayton Off Road! I will be going through them or Rock Krawler for my lift.
