Default Looky at what I'm gonna come home to

    (5) 36-12.5-15 SS TSLs with (4) of them mounted on 15x10 aluminum wheels. the four that are mounted only have 200 miles on them, and the one not mounted still has the sticker on it. Paid only $750. My stepdad tells me that the wheels were mounted with stick on weights, not hammered weights. (and they are falling of) He also proceeded to tell me that one tire had 11oz and the other was 14oz. Anyone have problems balancing these things? Just for informations sake, my jeep gets 1K miles a year tops, but is 75% street driven. Should I get them rebalanced or go with the beads?

If they're biased, there's no hope in balancing them. Phenomenal off road, pain in the ass on road until they warm up.

I went to a sporting goods store and bought four bottles of copper bb's and put them in the tires and left them at 25 PSi and it helped significantly.

Yeah.. they're bias. The only time they will get over 55 mph is too and from the trails. Otherwise, it's mostly local roads. I'm going in the direction of grooving the center chevrons into 3 pieces. Did you go with just the beads and not external weights? How what was the weight per bottle of BBs?

I had the same tire but 35x15R15. I don't remember how much exactly they weighed per bottle, but there was only one size bottle at that. I didn't bother with external weights because with the amount of weight I had self-balancing internally, it would've been a waste of time.

Craigslist baby! It's my crack whenever I'm deployed. I found my jeep on there.

They're swampers... even if they weren't bias, they'd still balance like crap. On top of the fact they're 36", they'll be near impossible to balance.
Remove the weights on there, and do a search for balancing tires with air soft pellets. It'll be your best bet.

Yeah.. that's what I'm gonna do. Figure all I have to do is have them taken to the corner shop. They do allot of semi truck tire and farm equipment tire mounting there. Just ask them to break the bead, drop the pellets and reseat it.

Yep, internal balancing is the way to go. Stay away from putting metal inside your tires though. Metal is way too tough to go inside. You don't want little metal hammers pounding away at your wheels. Either do airsoft bbs balancing, or go to an offroad shop or tractor-trailer tire mounting shop and have them use their stuff. I have some brand of internal pellets in my 35's and will soon have it in my 33's too. It's the only way to go.
