wow, thats pretty cool. i mounted mine on the rear of my console for lack of other places. i have a rather large uniden. might have to look into that mount though. thanks for the post.
This came up in discussion at today's M&G when a couple other MJ'ers saw how my CB was mounted and wanted the information on it. Having tried other mounts, I found one by Arizona Rocky Road on ebay and it is the s**t! It's easy to install, can be removed when you don't want a CB in the vehicle, is easily used with both a hard top, soft top or both and is relatively inexpensive.
Here is the main web site:

I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

I have the antenna mounts on two of my Jeeps and also have the CB mount in one. Great gear and great guy. He is formerly military and gives a military discount. Look him up and give him a call or send him an email.
I had the Liberty one on mine and it was ok, the problem with it was the rear glass wouldn't open without hitting it. I still have it it someone wants to try it.
I know use this one from Kilby.

The Kilby CB Antenna Mount attaches directly to the spare tire wheel stud and provides a secure antenna mounting that's out of harms way. Installation is simple and 100% bolt-on.

hum i have the black mt mount that puts the radio on the left of the dash. but it limits you to the mini sized cb's. I am wanting to run a cb that has scan and weather station capabilities.
One question I have is- is your mount adj for the different size cb's out the as far as width goes??

Becuase of the way the bracket is designed, you shouldn't have any problem mounting a larger radio. Best bet if you have any questions is to contact Rick directly at [email protected]. He should be able to answer any of your questions. He was a Cpl in the Corps during Vietnam and enjoys hearing from Jeeping vets!

that cb mount looks pretty cool

That's exactly the kind of mount I needed when mounting my cb. I ended up mounting it under the dash on the passenger side. now this is on my wish list too.
