    Question another death wobble thread...

I was driving my 61 cj5 to work and hit a RR crossing and immediately went into the DW. I know it needs new tires it has old I mean OLD Firestone H78 15's on it with no weights so sure they are very very out of balance. However when i pulled the plastic walmart hubcaps off I found the drivers side was missing 2 side by side wheel studs ( oh the joy's of shady tree mechanic P/O's). The tires are a LH thread guessing he didn't know that til after he had snapped two off...

Any ways so trying to remove the drum to install new studs and I can not for the life of me get the drum to slide off. I can't find any adjustment screw to back the pads off either ( this is a 4 drum non power brake system) ....

any/all input would be greatly appreciated!

Use a hammer and hit the drum in between the wheel studs as hard as you can. Rust is most likely holding it on and needs to be jarred loose. Hit it all the way around a bit and see if it helps. That is my geuss.
