    Default Budget Hood Vents

Here are pic's of what I just did (when I was supposed to be working!)

    I got them from here...

    http://www.discountmarinesupplies.co...=104880&group=
I also added pieces of 3/4" metal strap to the underside to reinforce the hood/vent mounting (but hard to see in the pic's).

I was never going to be able to lower my windshield with the hi-lift mounts there, so that is where I started cutting the vents. The vents lower the underhood temps when you are going slow in the rocks (or traffic), especially so on hot days.

Looks great! I've been looking at putting louvers on my hood, and have seen other types of marine vents used. I haven't seen those vents used before and I like them.
