    Default aftermarket steering wheel for tj

    does anyone know who makes aftermarket steering wheel kits for a TJ? i had my airbags go out awhile back and i dont have the money to get a new airbag and have it reset by the dealer. ive only seen these kits for yjs and cjs.

    I would imagine Grant makes them for any jeep.

    i was looking at those before but it said it doesnt work with telescoping columns and im not sure if i have that on mine.

    since you don't have a airbag any more, you should be able to take the stock wheel off fairly easy to see the mounting (it won't go off now since it already did). Then you can search for steering wheels off the internet with the correct bolt patern. It appears to be only a center splined shaft with a nut on it. (according to my service manual)

    A grant steering wheel mounting kit fir a yj will fit the tj column. I did this to my tj a few years ago. I have my OEM wheel with airbag if you are interested also.
