Thanks for posting.
Here's the link to the new UFWDA E-news magazine.
They said to share it with other wheelers, so, in case you're not a member (yet) check it out!

As someone who is on the BOD at UFWDA, it was a tough call to convert to an electronic magazine.
We looked at many options prior to making the switch.
On average, it was costing us about $7000 to $10,000 per edition to edit, print, mail to our members.
Normally, the advertising only covered about 50 to 70 percent of that cost.
The advantage of going electronic now, is we can increase out number of magazines done per year. We use to do a quarterly magazine, but now with decreased cost, we can increase this to 6 per year.
The other benefit, is the info in the electronic version is more relevant than before. Before, I would start writing my article for the magazine we would start putting together next month and for it to be published the month after that. Long lead times for a print version.
We aslo do a monthly e-News version that goes out as a PDF file only. It is a shorter, hot list of issues that need attention that month.
We are debating if we will publish the e-News on the months that the electronic Voice is delivered.
Stay tuned for that one.
For those that do like to sit down and read, you have a link on the uniflip version to download the PDF and print it. It is a very large pdf file though, so no dial up on that one. When I downloaded it, it was like 300 meg.
We have posted a smaller pdf on our forums also.
We are always looking for articles and other tech info to publish, so please send it to us, or send it to me at [email protected].
Thanks

Hey Todd! Thanks for the info, and the work you do with the UFWDA!!
I know it's quite a commitment to do something like that, and we appreciate those who do! It certainly helps our sport!
