Default tire and wheel combo questions / suggestions ??

Well, I think I just sold the aluminum wheels off my Jeep

so, I will need to replace them

I already know I will get black steelies

    now for the questions:

should I go with 15x8 inch wheels with 33x10.5 or 33x12.50 inch tires

    or

should I go with 15x10 wheels with 33x12.50 tires?

    and what backspace?

I currently have 15x10 aluminum with 32x11.50 tires and I think the backspace is wrong for my application. they stick way out.

gonna stick with BFG mud terrain KM I believe. they run good.

so, what do you think on size combo ? pics would help

all mods to the jeep are in my sig

15x8 with 3.75-4in bs, 33x12.5x15. Don't go with 15x10, you have a better chance of losing a bead when aired down!

im running the 15x8 pro comp steelies with 35 M/T's. a buddy of mine runs the 33's on a 97? they work great, have very little road noise and so far have not cupped out like most mud tires.

I run the 35 x 12.50 BFG's on 8 inch wide black steelies for street tires, works great, also yeah, without beadlocks, the skinnier rim helps with fewer bead losses. I ran the same type of combo with 10 inch rims in the past and had several bead loss issues. Personal opinion, I would stick to 8 inch rims up to a 12.50 tire and 10 on 13+ wide tires.
