    Default sway disco

anyone else run with swaybar disco'd permanently or does everyone pretty much have quicker disconnects. i want to put mine back on but we hammered them out so the threading is flat.

Since I broke one of my JKS discos, I have left it off. I haven't had the front connected in about a year and a half. I haven't had any adverse actions without it. YMMV.

Running the anti-rock.... more stable the running disco'd all the time, and I don't have to climb under and connect/disconnect each time I go offroad.

i had none, zero, zip on my tj when i traded it in. didnt have any problems except poping rear springs once in a while with too much flex. it was also funny to see the look on peoples faces when i would take the round about on the way to work at 20+ and the body would lean, but all 4 tires would stay just fine.

Def. don't think I would try anything close to this on my XJ..... was going to disconnect my rear and get rid of it... but not sure how much it would lean with just that removed!! Def. wouldn't drop the front one completely, unless on the trails...

I think your XJ would be more stable than the TJ. The leaf springs are a bit stiffer than the coils on the back of TJ's.

I broke a swaybar endlink on my TJ about two months ago. I have been running without a front swaybar since then. I have no real problem driving like that but I imagine it could get a little hairy in an accident avoidance scenario.

I don't recommend driving a TJ with the front disconnected on the freeway or even back roads at high speeds as Andy02 mentioned the steering response and control in a panic situation will be diminished. Around town there are really no worries other than you will have more body roll/lean in corners. I have not had a rear sway bar on my TJ in years. Up front I have the Teraflex ST Swaybar disconnect.

I agree to the statement only if you runing stock or worn out shocks... I had the same miss conception about the TJ... I been runing no swaybar for the last two months in a mix of city/hwy driving with no isues... IHO, disco it for a while drive it carefully and come to your own conclusion...
