    Default sound bar speakers

anybody know if these will fit in an '05 LJ soundbar w/o modification?

they are the slim version so they are only 2" deep...I'm looking for a 6.5 that will fit without having to cut...

I fit Alpine 6 1/2 SPC-17's into my sound pod's in my 2004 Rubicon. The only cutting I had to do was grind down the metal speaker fastners. I have some finished pics of the speakers. I didn't have to make any cuts to the pods

Second the crutchfield fitment guide... they are pretty good folks to deal with too. I had been shopping for a home theater receiver, and the one I wanted came up on sale through them... so I ordered, UPS promptly ignored the instructions (it's a two-person carry) and crushed the thing dumping it on my front porch. Crutchfield immediately shipped a replacement, sent info for a pickup on the damaged one, and in no time I was back in business. And their vehicle fitting kits work well. They're not always the cheapest route, but definitely the most reliable.
And if you can snag a set, Infinity Kappas make for a great sound in a Jeep... plenty brassy, and durable. They come in a marine version (for you jarheads out there) that is water-proofed... ideal for the soundbar.
