    Default DIY Highline/Flatfenders

    I know this has been posted before somewhere but I cant seem to find what I am looking for. Has anyone done this to their rig? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    ive seen tons of flat fendered MJ rigs. highline 'kits' are as expensive as a lift, but the do it yourself leaves your hood all wierd

    The real advantage to the AEV High Line kit is the factory look and finish when you are done and if your Jeep is your daily driver and you live in an area where the Police are tough on modified vehicles on the street, have to deal with a vehicle inspection, etc. then most folks will never know you did anything to your Jeep. As for picking up 2.5" or more clearance to run taller/wider tires with no or less left you can do it, or have it done cheaper than the high line kit with the various tube fender kits that are out there or home made versions that I have seen. One guy in Arkansas used and old set of tires, looked pretty good on his CJ7 and worked great.

    This is the best write up I seen so far and the finish product is stock look, that is if you have fab skills....
