I have no idea about the install. I will find out in a few months when i get back from the sandbox. I was looking at getting a normal winch and putting a rope on it and it came out to be more expensive so i went this route. Hope she holds up. off topic eddie did you get my last email about those bumpers?
Tollas3 just installed a winch about one week ago. He may be able to shed some light on this. Also, korisu56 has a sweet little deal he rigged up for his winch control that he may be able to share if he sees this thread, and 05warrior has internal controls for the winch mounted in his dash, so that is another option to look into. good luck
Cool.....I hear that the synthetic line doesn't store energy like the cable so if it does snap it won't take your head off.......Guess you should be out of the way anyway? I think I'll spool my Warn 9000i up with syn line when my cable starts to wear.
