    Default Death Wobble?

    Hey,
I was wondering if anyone in the Loenard Wood area could help me out. I just put a suspension lift on my jeeper and I'm having some issues with the steering wheel shaking around 35 mph and stops around 45 mph. I balanced the tires and put an adjustable trac bar on and still having the problem. If anyone has any other suggestions I would love to hear them...I'm nervous about taking her on the highway or off road with this issue.

    Thanks,
    Remiey

front end allignment would be next I think.
Tires balanced; correct psi, tie rods/ drag link, trac bar, maybe hub bearings. Anyof those loose or bad can give you DW.

First thing I will tell you is scrap the 2" spacers and add a 1" Body Lift. You will still have ample room for 35's and it should help with your shakes. Let me ask this when it shakes is it uncontrollable (to where you have to stop to make it stop) or are you able to drive through it? If it is uncontrollable it is in fact DW but if it is controllable then you just have the shakes. Both are similar and have sililar causes. My second change would be (do you have a Transfer Case Drop?) if not either do a drop or do a Slip Yoke Eliminater with Double Carden Drive Shaft and that will almost definalty stop your issues

Look at your lower track bar bushing. I changed mine this weekend it has definately helped so far. My jeep drives like brand new from changing one $17 bushing. My old one was a PIA to get out.

Go over every bolt you loosened to put the lift on and tighten it.
If it started happening right after you did the lift, something is loose.

Do you have the adjustable upper arms on yet?
If not, your caster could be off which could also cause a wobble.
