My Smittybilt rear carrier's latch wasn't catching properly and didn't align right. I guess it's a common problem with the latest batch since the bumper is cut in the US and the hardware is from another source, or something like that.

Anyways, the plan for those of you with the same issue is to call up Ray @ Smittybilt. He's at extension 4. He'll be happy to help in any way he can.

As of today he's given me a new rear bumper and carrier with the corrections made to hopefully resolve this problem.
