    Default Fuel injectors...

Heard a rumor that it is possible to replace the stock injectors in a '99-'06 TJ with ones for a Mustang Cobra (21 lbs), anybody tried this?

Must be something to it. I found these posts talking about just that thing.

Yes it has been done. The advantage is that the cylinder orifices has multiple injection ports. This atomizes the fuel finer making a better fuel/air mixture. You notice a much smother idle. As far as HP gains ... well this a debatable issue. The newer computers monitor fuel/mixture so some may not see the gains claimed. For instance if you currently have 21# injectors and you go 24# injector the computer will continue using the same fuel/air mixture. The advantages I have witnessed are smoother idle and quicker throttle response. Now WOT (wide open Throttle) is a different issue all together.

That is what I had figured, mixture-wise, wasn't sure though. I have had the injectors for a while, but haven't installed them yet 'cause I was worried they may have a different Ohm rating and might fry my ECU.

One recommendation would be not to go 6-8% over you current lbs rate.
