You could put a manual switch to turn it on amd off when you need it. That's what I'm going to be doing with my 04 unlimited. I'm going to put a pusher fan on it and run a switch in to the cab for itl
I am installing an electric fan on my 2005 unlimited and dont want to use the probe that sticks into the radiator fins. I would like to use the stock temp. bulb (sensor). Anybody have a good idea how to do this or where orr how I can add a temp sensor that is in contact with the coolant.

If your not cheating your not trying and if you get caught your not trying hard enough

If you don't mind spending the money you can get the fan relay kit from Painless Wiring. You can get a T fitting and an adapter from a hardware store and mount your factory temp sensor too. Just mount the factory sensor closest to the block and everything works like stock. I did this with my '04 Rubicon and it was pretty simple. Also try to mount the relay as far from the radiator as possible.
