Army Being Suffocated in my Jeep!

I would love to get some input on what some of you may think is going on with my 2010 Wrangler. I bought this Wrangler last week, and have already put over 900 miles on it.

When I drive with the top down and the heat on full, I get really dizzy after about 20 minutes of driving. I took it to the dealer and was told that they had left some stickers on the exhaust. The heat from the exhaust caused the glue on the stickers to melt and the toxins from the glue were being pushed up through the cabin. Well, the dealer removed the stickers and I assumed the problem was fixed.

Well, I drive into work this morning with the top down and the heat blaring. I now feel like I can barely stand up.

Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?

Please excuse me if this post sounds awkward. I still feel dizzy.

    Thanks,

    James

    Wow.
Take it back to your dealer. Tell them you're not taking it back until the problem is corrected. It sounds like you're getting CO2 poisoning. You could have an exhaust leak that's entering the cabin. Don't take no for an answer from the service writer. If he gives you trouble go to his boss. If he gives you trouble call up his boss. The dealership should be responsible for selling you a vehicle that doesn't start to make you pass out after 15-20 mins.

Something seems wrong here, you are driving with the top off/down and are getting dizzy?
I'm Mike, make sure you spell it right, because I do not want to get the wrong A$$hole in trouble.

If you do not have time to do it right the first time, how do you have time do do it over?

    Thanks everyone for your input.

Yes, I am driving with the top down and getting dizzy. Seems strange, but I think it has to do with the fact I have the heater on as well. When I have the top on, the heat is off or at least on low. I think I am breathing in something that the heater is blowing in from the engine. I really ahve no clue as to what is going on. I'm taking it to a different dealer tomorrow for a second opinion.

Any adhesive to the exhaust would burn off within a few hours of driving, so I would think there's something else going on. If there was a leak in the exhaust manifold I would think you'd notice the engine being a bit louder than normal, but since you've had it less than 1k miles, you might not notice it.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Are you sure you might not have vertigo? I'm not laughing when I ask this. If you suspect carbon monoxide, buy a cheap battery powered household CO detector and carry it in your Jeep. Then, at least you can rule that out.

Also, air from the outside that blows across the heater core doesn't come from the engine compartment, it comes from the vent where your wipers are at.
