Looks good! Thanks for the info...and make sure to let us know how it is holding up in that Vegas sun!
I was getting sick of looking at my faded out dash pad so I decided to make good use of the good weather and paint it. I couldn't find Duplicolor vinyl paint in stock anywhere so I decided to try out the vinyl paint from Rustoleum. Glad I did. It sprayed evenly and covered well, used only most of one can to put on three coats on my pad. See for yourself

If your looking to spruce up your dash I would highly reccomend it.

I will have to say that I am a little impressed with the Rustoleum Vinyl Paint. After going thru it's first Vegas summer, with the top off all summer long. It shows little to no fading and no chalkiness.

wow that looks great from the pics. Glad a rattle can choice i now on the list for some vehicles.
The only prep I did was scrub the hell out of it. I washed it with some good old Dawn in the bath tub, that made the 6 real happy, let it dry and then wiped it down with some mineral spirits and washed it again. I let it dry overnight and painted it up the next day. Let logo painting looks better in the pics than in person, what can I say I'm no artist. One of these days I pull the pad back off and repaint the logo. But overall I'm happy with the way it come out.
Nice work, I used the Plasti-coat version with outstanding results too.

...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.'

Hey brother, that thing looks awesome. Glad you gave us the heads up since I need to do the same thing to my dash and door panels.
I did my door panels a while back. Here's a link to how mine came out. Scroll down toward the bottom of the first page.
