Default What kind of items / products would you like to.....

What kind of items / products would you like to see available at all times at a local shop if you had the choice?

    Just gathering some ideas.

    Regards,

At all times? You talking a business shop, Belvoirs Auto Hobby, BWJ's school shop, or a personal garage?

Compressor and a good welder I think would top the list.
Past that, multiples of the same sized sockets and wrenches.

Common mid-priced upgrades and repairs. Lighting, storage (armored glove boxes/consoles), u-joint (replacement and upgrades), seat covers, wraingler nets, synthetic line...etc. Good mid level priced impact purchase stuff is normally the best bet when stocking a shop...also armor (rockers, trail corners, skids). Generally items under $300 are pretty good for that. Also...if you have a good vendor that carries a variety of hula girls...

I agree with Jeff...be able to order higher dollar stuff, but stock mid priced things and things that seem to be harder to get/find from regular parts stores.

    That's a big plus nowadays.

And like Jeff & Truck said the ability to order for the customer is a huge plus.

Well, I understand having to order big ticket items like bumpers, tires, skids, basically the stuff that is larger, expensive and not really easy to keep in stock.

But, I would like to see a place that carries the smaller stuff, like the minor modifications that you may want to add to your jeep and don't want to have to order a bunch of crap along with it online just to make the shipping charges worth it.

Oddly enough it's hard to get D shackles at my local off road shop he never has them in stock. I think doorless mirrors(sorry drawing a blank on the actual term) would be good to have, and on a more comical note keep a good supply of torx tips and PB blaster.

I just moved the post to here since it seems like it could benefit from input from people outside of the mid atlantic region.
