    Default Decorating the jeep

    the other day i saw a pickup with some christmas lights on it so im thinking about maybe a reef up front and lights around the soft top, any one else ever do this kind of stuff.

    gotta go find some kind of adapter so i can plug lights in, and i wonder what the laws are for putting extra lights on i might end up with a couple tickets

    big rigs do it all the time. i think they sell those at wally world the kind that plug into your cigarette lighter

    just hang red lights in the back yellow on the sides and white in the front

    They actually sell Christmas Tree type lights that operate off a battery pack.

    I've never done it on the street, but some times me and my friends will light up our Jeeps at the camp grounds to bring that party atmosphere. Set up is as simple as getting a cheap inverter from harbour freight or walmart, I have an over kill inverter that can power my welder but you don't need to take it that far.

    We used to do it for the XMas parades in Amarillo when we lived there. We always had several Jeep club members decorate the jeeps with lights for the night time Parade. I have a 400 watt inverter installed in the Jeep, so regular XMas lights worked just fine.
    Sorry no pics, never seem to get any, just to busy having fun.
