    Default CJ Accessory Power

Alright, on last jeep I had a fuse box to work with. For all you CJ's out there, where do you hook up your lights, radios, cb's, etc? I gotta figure out how to get power without running a thousand inline-fused wires to the battery.

Are there any bolt up power stations that you can plug into?

Never had a CJ, but with my XJ, I went to Advance Auto for a Bussman fuse holder,
    http://www.bussmann.com/pdf/c08d920b...bef755608b.pdf,
and ran 1 wire from the battery to the block. Bussman has several diff options, depending on how many wires you want to run. Advance carries the 6 fuse block. Works great in mine, easy to mount and use.

Chris I did a quick search and this is what I found. Might want to look into a marine set up since it will be water proof, at least more so than these.

Do a google on Bussman fuse block. With the fuse block, all wiring and connectors was less than 30.00. If I can do it, anyone can.

    Korius,
I will have to search some other web sites I use to frequentest where I had pictures of the Spod "Like" system I made. I may be able to access some pics from here but I am on a different computer that does not have the original pics on it. Everything was heat shrinked and pretty well protected IMO. At least it did not catch anything on fire!!! and all the wiring, fuses and switches were of the proper size to meet the load.
As far as mounting......this thing is light as hell, do not underestimate Industrial strength Velcro! Do not laugh.....I have that crap all over the place in my rig and it hold everything just fine.....just a thought!

The bravest of all Spartans was Dienekes. It is said that on the eve of battle, he was told by a native of Trachis that “the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fire their volleys, the mass of arrows will block out the sun.”

Dienekes, however, quite undaunted by this prospect, remarked with a laugh, “Good. Then we’ll fight in the shade!”
