Did you check your spare? That also has a sensor in it.
If all 5 tires are pumped to 35lbs and the light is still on, you probably have a sensor not working. Since it is an 09 you probably have warranty???
Just some thoughts.
Ok this may be something simple that i am over looking but my TPM light came on last night going into work. I stopped and checked tires & they seemed fine. Next gas station I added air to all tires to make sure they were good (35psi) even in the spare. The light will not go out, I even tried the key on press gas pedal 3 times deal but no luck.
Any ideas or advice would be helpful.
Thanks

Yes all 5 tires checked and set to 35psi, someone else suggested I check the door tag as they think reccomended psi is 37lbs. I'll have to do that tommorrow after work and see if that clears it. Thanks for the suggestions

It should reset itself. Yours is an 09 but I know the 07 JK resets when you air down and then back up as I have done it.

Well got in the Jeep to go home after work & the TPM light was still on. Pulling onto the street at home it blinked several times then when out. Has not come back on. I'm thinking it was as someone suggested about the air getting colder & messing with the sensors "brain''. So far no lights, so it seems to be good.
Thanks all for the advise & suggestions.

I READ TODD DID
Yeah... I think I'd pull the sensor or place some electrical tape over the light location.
take out the sensor and put in a new one. something like that would drive me nutso.

All good suggestions, but the one of replacing the sensor leaves one question....which one to replace? left- right? front - rear? spare?
As I said previous post the light has gone out after i added air to tires and has not come back on. If it does it again I'll just take it to the dealer & let them figure out which it is.
As for the "what type air am I using..........Being the I used the pump at the gas station on Ft Belvoir I would have to say it's ARMY AIR!!!
