    Default Tweek Check

Is there anyway to tell if my frame is tweeked without taking my heep to a bodyshop?? My doors wont open since the husband wrecked it. the tub seems fine other than a small dent over the rear drivers side wheel well.

does it matter?? there is nothing to see.. just a smallish superficial dent, crushed windshield and broken rollbar, shouldnt affect the doors...

Have you looked at the body mounts. If there is any deformation then your tub is tweaked. that doesn't mean its a total loss thought. To get the door open you might pull the door pannel from the inside the linkages may have gotten popped out.

get 4 pieces of string with a heavy bolt for the end of each . Identify 2 spots same side to side for front and back of frame. attack your stringbobs to these 4 points measure left to right front to back and x. should come up to identical or fairly close especially the fron to backs and the x

yes this jeep was flopped on its top with no doors and you put a new windshield frame in and replaced the roll bar my guess when the jeep rolled it hit the top of the wind shield and shoved the A pillar down tweaking the tub

have you tried loosing up the door hinges and realigning the the door

i would start with the hing on the door loosen both top and bottom hing pieces on the door and close the door then re-tighten the hinges on the door if that doesn't work loosen all the bolts up on both hinges then close the door and re-tighten normally the first trick will do fine and make sure when every thing is tightend up the door is not in a bind if ti is it will have one spot where it will "stick" or be a little stiffer to move

i have to do this every time i take my full doors off cause of a bent hing
Rocks to a Jeep are like crack to an addict
