    Default SYE/Drive shaft help

So I just installed my Rockmen tummy tuck with Tom woods SYE and drive shaft. I had to drive a few days in front wheel drive while waiting on the rear drive shaft and rode fine, got the rear shaft today and now Iím getting a bad vibration and an odd noise from T-case especially when off the gas. I have not adjusted my pinion angle and not sure if that has some thing to do with it or if it could be the T-case shifter linkage. Any one have any experience with a similar problem?

Is your pinion at least close to pointing to the out put of the transfer case?
I'm guessing no. W/O the sye and cv shaft, your pinion would have been parallel with your out put of the transfer case. These 2 things need to be pointing directly at each other. You could be quickly burning out a u joint, wearing out pinion seal, causing damage to your new sye. If you don't have the time to take care of the pinion angle now, pull the drive shaft out and keep driving in 4Hi until you can tackle it.

    Back with more questions.
I bought the jks upper arms got them adjusted until the rear track bar is about to rub the gas tank skid. The drive line angle is still not optimal according to tom woods and I still get mild vibes at 30 and 40 mph. So hereís the question, is there any track bar or bracket that I can get to prevent the rubbing on the tank to get optimal drive line angel without cutting or welding the bracket?

you need a new track bar relocation bracket...4wd.com sells one that is angled for use with SYE and CV d.s. applications. http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=43736 is the part that I will be using when I get around to it. This will keep the track bar away from the gas tank, and will eliminate binding that you will have now with any articulation/travel. Good luck and happy trails!

Well I actually got the SYE and drive shaft from Tom Woods, the upper arms are JKS and got them from 4wd, and the tummy tuck was a group with novajeepers from rokmen. I will try to get some picís soon.
