Default Post Your CB Radio Mounting Pics Here

Since I'm in the market for a CB, I spent about an hour tonight searching CB's on the forum here and found some good stuff, but not exactly what I was looking for so in an effort to help forum members for future searches I'm creating this post. Please post your mounting picture and fill out the information below when you reply to this thread.

Example: (Cut and paste the info below and modify to your equipment)

CB Brand/Model: Cobra 75 WX ST
    CB Price: $100.00
    Antenna Brand/Model: Firestix
    Antenna Price: $20.00
    Where you bought: www.whereveryoubought.com
NOTE: I DO NOT ENDORSE MOUNTAIN VALLEY CUSTOMS (MVC) FOR ANY 4x4 MODIFICATIONS - PM ME IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS WHY!

(To those who wonder, I am NOT the club founder, this has been my screen name for over 10 yrs on all other forums and ironically this site is called "Military Jeepers"......contact miljeep for forum related questions)

    CB Brand/Model: Realistic trc-10
    CB Price: $5.00
    Antenna Brand/Model: Wilson 2000
Antenna Price: free (old neighbor gave it to me)
    Where you bought: auction

as for the mounting pic.. it's only a temporary spot but here it is! lol

it may be an "el cheapo" but it still reaches out!
and once i can realy re-do the interior i'm just gonna leave it where it is for now (as i'm the one who uses it & am usualy in the passenger seat!)

my antena mount is a bit too low where it is, so i'm not gonna bother postin a pic of that, but it is on the passenger side. (there was one already mounted when we got the jeep)

I don't have any pictures, but I've got the cobra 75.
There's a small box, mounted right in front of the center console... out of sight.
The cable runs under my center console. I drilled a hole in the center console near the bottom passenger side and have the plug mounted there. Whenever the cb's not plugged in, most people would never know it was there.
I do have a small external speaker mounted where the roll bars meet up just to the rear and above of the drivers ear.

    Set up works great.

I will take pics when I get home. I bought the package deal that came with the radio, antenna, and 18' of cable. Only thing I had to ask for was the antenna mounting bracket. They don't put it in the package deal because people want to mount it differently.

    CB Price: $168.00

I'll try and find some pics of mine...

I have mine mounted below my steering wheel, in a hole that I cut for it!
