WJ half doors
Had a couple people ask about my doors. So here it is.
I cut out the pieces with a jig saw which made quick work of it. I then welded in some 10 gauge sheet metal. Used some late Cherokee interior door handles. Just had to make new connecting rods for the locks to handles. All the electric door locks work like normal. I added some Polk 100w marine speakers to all 4 doors. Removed the door hinge pins and replaced them with wire lock pins. Can swap all 4 doors in about 10 minuets. Power heated mirrors work also. I like'em. I am curios though, in PA (I think) they have really strict door laws on wheelers, can these be run there?
If I keep my XJ, I'd like to do the same, for summer time. Right now, it's to blasted cold! So I would need to do like you, and have 2 sets of doors.

I have no Idea. But I would expect that if you run the wrangle without doors and it is legal then half doors would be no problem. I have seen some posts from people that their state says 4" bottom sill and one or more side mirrors. You would have to take a pic of what your gunna do and ask at a police station or something.
