Did you try to find anything on Optima's site?
Help! I've been searching the web and Jeep forums all morning, and can't find it.
I cracked the Yellowtop Optima on Friday, while trying to jumpstart the tractor.
(Lesson learned, don't try and move a battery while wearing choppers!)
Anyway, I know I've seen some tech write ups on fixing the Optima battery when the top/housing has cracked.
Anyone have a link? Or a fix? I'm thinking Epoxy, but want to make sure.
Thanks! HB

I'm Mike, make sure you spell it right, because I do not want to get the wrong A$$hole in trouble.
If you do not have time to do it right the first time, how do you have time do do it over?

I'm assuming it's out of warranty?
Not yet. I had to go watch the gameVikes won!!
Didn't think of that, as it was my own fault. But as it's close to 4 years old, it's probably out.
I'm thinking of trying epoxy. It did take and hold a charge, and seems fine still. Just a couple cracks on the top.
