    Default Line-X the Exterior

Anyone ever heard of using Line-X or Rhino Lining for the exterior. I seen a FJ cruiser lifted with a snorkel kit and a couple of other mods on 95 S in the Woodbridge, VA area. Looked pretty good, for a non-jeep owner. It had the complete exterior sprayed. Just wondering if anyone has this. I've got a guy back home that can do it and I have clearance from the wifey. This will be completed by the spring.

There used to be a girl up here that had it done to a Tacoma. She really liked it for running through the brush, but said she lost 2 MPG on the highway from doing it. If I lost 2 MPG I'd have to drag around a 55 gallon drum of gas behind me.

a few guys in san diego had it done. most regretted it due to the large amounts of rocks, granted it was warrantied but made rock crawling hard due to sheet metal not sliding. plus it added quite abit of weight to the rig.

Line X is great for certian parts and can be ok for the entire outside, but its hard to keep clean. I have the entire inside of the tub and part of the sliders on the LJ Line X'd. Love it!

I would not Line X the entire Jeep though.

I did not want the sticker on my rig. My Line X dealer told me I just had to save the recipt for the garantee.
