    Default front bumper stinger

I have a buddy that is mkaing me a front bumper next week but I want to add a stinger but not sure what size. Wanted to see if anyone out there had any dimensions or ideas. Dont want anything extreme. Shooting for a medium range size stinger. Any dimensions or pics would be great. Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks for the replies. Got a question for you Ghost, I see they show their stingers on their bumpers, how well did yours weld up to your bumper since it looked like your bumper wasnt from them. Is the product pretty much ready to go when they ship it? Thanks again.

It is pre-bent only. You have to cut for whatever angle you want and notch the pipe. I used a grinder to notch and and chop saw with cutting disk to do the other cuts. Also I have 110v welder and did two passes for the welds.

The bumper is from Eddie (BESERK) an MJ member and Ground Pounder Fab owner.

Can you order the braces when you order the stinger or did you fab up the braces yourself? By the way, that is a real nice looking set up you got there.

Don't have the best picture of mine, but took a piece of string and ran it from the top corner of the windshield to the front of the hood and then added 2" so that if I where to roll the stinger should be tall enough to save the radiator. I also just added enough angle so that I could mount two 7" lights and they would be protected. I only tested it once, on the Rubicon in June 1008 I was crawling down a very steep rock ledge and at the bottom the Jeep stalled, I should have burpped the throttle, and I had just enough momentum that the back end lifted, I rolled onto the stinger and then the Jeep settled back down on all four tires. I restarted the engine and drove out of it, no damage done.

maybe a little extreme for what your looking for but the bumper is made by fabfours. it also comes with a winch plate. i managed to buy this on ebay for 350 before they jacked the price to 650.
