What type of compressor are you wanting to use...compressor unit such as a Vair or a engine driven compressor such as a york or "ac compressor".
Looking into doing an OBA conversion on my TJ and was curious if anyone knew of some good info that listed material. I found a few hits on yahoo but they were more to using aftermarket everything. I'm looking at staying with current compressor and parts from local stores. Thanks in advance for the help.

I did a York OBA, bought all the parts from Ebay, junk yards, Home Depot, Harbor Freight etc. Total came out to around $475.00 with 2.5 gal. tank. I can air up all 4 tires from 10-30psi in 4 min. and run air tools.
Did you do it recently enough to do a write-up? That'd be awesome as I would be doing a York job on the CJ.
