    Default electrical gremlins.....

2001 TJ 4.0 AT 60 anv ed. this is the 800 dollar jeep.

factory fog lights are now wired to the switch that used to control the hard top wiper. i had a bad switch that would like nofearyj's would stay on and flicker at a random time of its choosing.

so with the inline splice thanks to kev, problem solved. now when i have the fog lights switched on through the toggle switch and hit for a left blinker my headlights shut off for a second or so, its noticable if you looking for it. the lights are not affected by right hand blinker activaction. with the fog lights off left blinker does not affect the headlights at all.

i am very confused anybody got any ideas????

Well if you had just asked me about the problem I could have given some input as to why the issue is there but I will wait and see what everyone else says since that is the route you want to take

Well that's a nice answer. Sounds like feelings got hurt.

It kind of sounds like you have a wire crossed somewhere dealing with the blinker. That's the first thing that pops in my head.
