    Crazy!

As long as the people remain armed,
government knows that it cannot rule over the people by force.
Those who stand in defiance of unconstitutional laws
do so out of duty, honor, oath and love of country.

Be careful posting this kinda stuff on a public forum. That type of stuff would get you a disturbing fine in a mjority of states. It also provides bullets for tree huggers trying to close down off road land everywhere, Tellico is a prime example.

    Pretty cool anyway
What kind of water proofing did you do?

Thanks fellas , I try not to give us a bad name for sure. No oil leaks on my 98 5.9 that is where I believe am trying to be responsible .
Heck, I am the biggest tree hunger out there. I bet I spend more time sitting up a tree with my trusty friend Mr Matthews than the tree hugger's have spent out doors period.

We have crossed that stream many times in the past, this time was about 1.5 to 2 foot deeper water.

Waterproofing. I have done more then meets the eye. The snorkel of course. But the biggest and 2nd most important was to drop the Transmission and seal up the quarter size hole on the inside of the bell-housing area behind the torque converter this big hole was the vent and that is it, So I had drilled and tapped a fitting so I was able to run a tube from what was a mid transmission level vent now up to the air box. I also relocated the vents from the transfer and both diffs up there too. I put some silicon around the distributor cap. and sprayed all wires and electrical down with WD-40.

I will be changing all my fluids Saturday to see how they have handled my latest wheeling trips. And with luck I will be mounting my 33 procomp x terrains to.

This is a picture from last weeks stuck.
Having front and rear lockers does not mean you won't get stuck. It just means when you do it will be that much worse.

    Enjoy!!!

Yeah I am with Fred, playing in streams may be fun, but it also gives fuel to the folks who want to ban us from ever taking our Jeeps off road. Part of Treading Lightly is only crossing water when you have to, if there is a way to go around or use a bridge than you should do it. Yes I do have a snorkel on my TJ, but it is there to help keep the air filter clean of dirt and dust from doing trail rides in Colorado, not because I play in rivers, lakes or streams.
